K–12 Teachers

Position Summary:
The K–12 Teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality, standards-based education to students in grades kindergarten through 12th. The teacher creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment, delivers effective instruction, assesses student progress, and collaborates with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Implementation:

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
-
Integrate technology, project-based learning, and real-world applications into instruction.
Classroom Management:
-
Establish clear rules and procedures to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
-
Use positive behavior management strategies and respond appropriately to student behaviors.
-
Promote social-emotional learning, character development, and student engagement.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
-
Administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.

Use data to inform instruction, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed.

Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Collaboration & Communication:
-
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom updates.
-
Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to support student learning.
-
Participate in professional learning communities, staff meetings, and school events.
Professional Responsibilities:
-
Maintain certification and participate in ongoing professional development.
-
Uphold school policies, procedures, and expectations.
-
Demonstrate ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject-specific field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Certification: Valid state teaching certification for appropriate grade and subject level.
-
Experience: Teaching experience preferred; student teaching or internship may be considered.

Skills: Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and instructional skills.

Working Conditions:
-
Full-time, typically Monday through Friday.
-
May involve occasional evenings or weekends for school events or meetings.
-
Must be able to supervise and manage students in both classroom and non-classroom settings.
